About Us

Our Mission and What We Do

The Heart and Stroke Foundation is governed by a volunteer advisory board representing a number of communities across PEI, who bring expertise from diverse fields and disciplines. This hard-working and committed group of individuals share our passion for improving the health of Islanders of all ages, and from all walks of life.

The Heart and Stroke Foundation relies heavily on our amazing cadre of volunteers who perform many tasks for us, from serving on our Board of Directors and committees, to assisting with local health fairs to providing clerical support in the office. However, our staff should also be recognized for the part they play on a day-to-day basis in enabling our work.
